Your total score only tells part of the story. The Fountain City framework uses a weakest-link principle: your overall AI readiness is effectively capped by your lowest-scoring domain. A company that scores 4s and 5s across six domains but a 1 in Governance has a serious vulnerability that will limit everything else.
After calculating your total, identify your lowest-scoring domain. That’s your priority, regardless of your aggregate score. A company at Systematized level (total score of 28) with a 2 in Data Readiness needs to address data before scaling further AI deployments.
